Gary Cooper, president of Dot-It Restaurant Fulfillment, LLC, passed away on February 3, 2019. He was 51 years old.

A passionate veteran of the flexographic and label printing industries, Gary was instrumental in leading Dot-It’s growth since coming to Dot-It in 2013. Previously, Gary held leadership positions with Staples Print Solutions, Inovar Packaging Group and Craftmark Label Graphics, where he led both the Screen Print and Dot-It divisions.

In a statement, Dot-It says: “We are deeply saddened at the sudden and tragic loss of our long-time leader and friend, Gary Cooper. Throughout his many years at Dot-It, Gary cultivated a culture greatly valued by employees, one based on positivity and personal and professional growth. He was a tremendous presence – warm and genial, encouraging and supportive. His natural leadership qualities and likeable personality were both comforting and inspiring to everyone who met him.”

Gary was very active in TLMI, North America’s leading label industry association. He served on the TLMI board of directors, was a meeting chair and a fervent committee supporter, including representing TLMI at the 2018 Print & Packaging Legislative Summit.

Gary is survived by his wife of 28 years, Colleen Cooper; his son, Truman Cooper; his daughter, Victoria Cooper Moore and husband, Dakota; mother, Barbara Hurley Groff and husband, Gary; brother, Mark Edward Hurley and wife, Lisa; step-father, Tom Hurley; mother-in law and father- in-law, George and Gay Butson; fur babies, Lexi and Leon; and numerous other family members and friends.
